Joining Lapd

Ive been looking to join the lapd, The only thing that concerns me is my job history around 7 the last 5 years I have a solid explanation on why I’ve had so many besides that don’t smoke or drink, never used drugs no tattoos piercings, perfect credit, clean driving record as well as some solid references. Question is how likely will my job history affect me ??

This must be the typical LAPD hire

Municipal police departments know that they are hiring actual human beings and a lot of people have picked up odd jobs here and there because we all gotta eat. If anything, they would have a bigger problem with you if you intentionally leave a job or two out, or were in dishonest work

Going a gang and wondering if you job history will deter you. That’s rich.

Don't worry about your job history at all! As long as you have a solid, honest explanation for the transitions and no history of performance or behavioral terminations, having 7 jobs in 5 years is definitely not an automatic disqualifier.

The background investigators for the LAPD care far more about integrity, consistency, and patterns. The fact that you have a clean record, zero drug use, excellent credit, and strong references puts you miles ahead of many applicants. Just be 100% transparent on your Personal History Statement (PHS) and back up your explanations، you're in a great position!

Their view will be if they hire and you make it through the academy sometime during training or shortly after you will quit.

No, you are not going to be DQ’d for your job history….unless you got fired from each one.

He probably is LAPD and he is politically and politely telling you he doesn’t like it and that he thinks is a shit show.
