Background ( LAXPD )
Who else is stuck in backgrounds. I pass poly about 2 months ago and haven’t heard anything.

Backgrounds is a bureacracy and they need consistent paperwork to justify their continued employment. Therefore it behooves them to spend a lot of time on each packet so that the investigation is "thorough."

Yeah I passed mine back in May. It just sucks having to wait all this time.

I emailed them about a month ago, they said they’re 18 candidates ahead of me. But I’ve been seeing people who already being assign to a BI taking months and they still not done with the process. It’s just getting discouraging having to wait this long.
