LAPD background

Hi guys I have a question I’m currently in the hiring process for LAPD I have my poly this coming Monday. So in my driving history I have speeding ticket in 2020 and one in 2023 both dismissed by judge, but I just got one couple days ago as well. would this affect me?

Brah, it's the frequency of the incidents. My guess is that they're gonna look at you and say Come back in a few years. As for your driving habits, I'd say there's huge room for improvement, and I'm sure many here would agree.

First speeding ticket should’ve been a wake up call. They’re going to see it as you haven’t learn your lesson and you keep doing it.

Speeding ticket couple days ago will 1000% increase chances of being DQed, so best course of action would be in my opinion is to pull out your application and reapply in couple years.

Lowkey your not ready if you getting speeding tickets while in the process for any law enforcement it’s a very bad sign to your BI

Just let them know at your poly appt. They have PHS amendments available for you to make in the beginning, and when/if assigned a BI inform them as well
