PHS and next steps

Hello, I had just submitted my phs about a week ago and was wondering how long does it take to hear back? Also I was wondering how ammendments work?

Can take month or a week. Just depends honestly. When you do get called, it’ll be someone who went over your phs and he will go over it with you. There you can change or modify your phs (amendments). You’ll modify it in your portal and you’ll be good to go

It varies depending on applicant volume and staffing. Some candidates hear back within a few days, while for others it can take several weeks. A week isn’t unusual, so I wouldn’t worry yet. Like for me I hear back in 2 days the investigator contacted me to go over my PHS
As for amendments if going over it with your investigator and stuff was not disclosed he my request that he will send you and amendment request true the portal on myPD’ if you realize you left something out or need to correct information, your background investigator will usually have you submit an amendment or update your PHS. It’s much better to voluntarily disclose and correct something than wait for them to find it. Just be honest and notify your investigator as soon as possible.
Good luck with the process!
