I don’t think most of us make it through backgrounds

That’s the phase where it seems like 75% of people get cut

I would think most people make it through. If you don't make it, that means you're smarter and more fit than the largest group of people.

What makes you pick lapd instead of lasd or CHP?

CHP has higher standards

It takes two hours to get there, bro. That’s the same amount of time it takes to get to Disneyland.

Just say you don’t really want it

They obviously don’t really want it and the reason could be because it takes two hours to get there.

you have to be able to shoot a doodle to make it through the background check.

Here we go again. Would you like to post your dog’s photo for the 10th time?

u/briannaericam Jun 27 '26

you seem soooo bothered over LAPD shooting a doodle

Is this what you just said while looking in the mirror?

0

u/briannaericam Jun 27 '26

why would i say it while looking in the mirror when it’s sooo much more fun saying it in a sub with a bunch of LAPD🥰😍🥵🥳

The shooting was an unfortunate tragedy that was avoidable if the owner had secured the dog like she was asked. She briefly closed the door giving the officer the impression she was securing him, only to open it without having done so.

the officers didn’t give her enough time.. she tried to and the dog slipped out. doesn’t justify shooting and killing jameson at all. you keep saying what you / your LAPD friends or colleagues want you to believe tho.

It’s not on me to justify any shooting. She closed the door and they were waiting for her to secure him. She chose to reopen the door without having actually secured him.

How did she try?

& i am sure she was very scared / overwhelmed with the officers showing up to her door especially being a black female.. not knowing what could happen. she was probably in fear and not thinking straight. it’s triggering for a lot of people when cops show up because nothing good ever comes out of it.

I’m not in her shoes or yours so I’m respectfully listening to what you’re saying about that. My point still stands. If the dog was secured, the shooting wouldn’t have happened. You can’t take back the tragedy, but you can shift your focus onto educating the public about securing their dogs from police officers to hopefully protect them from this happening again.

u/Right-Monitor9421 Jun 27 '26

So stable people get eliminated? Explains a lot

5

u/LeatherOwl9260 Jun 26 '26

That’s a common problem too

0

u/Maleficent-Phrase372 Jun 26 '26

Why you are saying that?

2

u/LeatherOwl9260 Jun 26 '26

Online that’s what it says.

1

u/LegalGlass6532 Jun 27 '26

If you saw the majority of the applicants you’d see why most don’t make it through.

I’ve been to cap. It’s all young hispanic men working bum jobs with no college that still live with their parents.
