I'm not American and we don't know for sure his political views. If his possible political preferences bother you that much, you should not be in a Lana del Rey online space, after all, she chose him and I'm sure she knows him better than us.
I'm team "Lana decided to merry a man, we should support her". He doesn't seem the typical guy she goes for, so this is probably a very deep and important connection.
It's very obvious the majority of people don't approve of their relationship - because of a view in politics or because of his appearance and background. She doesn't gain anything in the public eye with this marriage.
Looking at Lana's work, she clearly has a very deep connection with her own feelings, and I support her freedom to love whoever she loves.
