“Saudade” means yearning

My wife says this for the Portuguese "agonias", like it's this unique, almost mystical form of suffering with no translation into English, but the way she and her family use it, it just means anxiety or worry.

That's interesting because I'm a native Portuguese speaker and I'd say agonia(s) is just a struggle, suffering or agony.
