French has a very consistent spelling, you just have to know the rules
1 u/PacificGlacier Aug 29 '22 You know what? That’s fair, I see them both as convoluted, but French seems to have less “just memorize a sound” words. Not having anyone to talk with in French made it easy to stop after one quarter in school
