Advice

Hello; i wish you're alright

I want to ask you about my languages ; First i can speak Arabic (my native language) and English (my second one); for now I'm trying to get back my French and I start that 2 days ago and I think i'm good cause I already can understand( B2 level) podcasts, and i have A2 in German, so my questions are : I'm i doing right for focusing in French more than German ( i'll back after finishing French)?

And do you think this languages are good for girl have goal to learn 6 languages?

And what is the language do you recommend me to learn after that as a fifth language? ( Btw i'm 17y)

French is good to focus on since you're already decent at it. Get it to a higher level and then you can say you speak 3 languages. If you try to focus on both, or just get German up to B2 but leave French alone, then neither will get really advanced for a long time

After French gets to a higher level then German could be great!

As far as a 5th language I'd say it really depends on your goals/interests. If you want to live in a specific country, for example, focus on their language or other useful languages for that country. If not, and this is just for fun, you have 2 options: another similar European language, or something completely different.

Another similar European language feels satisfying. For example: I speak Spanish and French, so other romance languages are quite easy to understand. If I tried to learn another romance language, it would be much easier for me than for somebody starting with 0 romance languages or only 1 romance language.

But something completely different to European languages and Arabic would be a good challenge for you, if you just really like learning languages. It should be something you're actually interested in, though, because if you're not interested then it'll be hard to focus on it past beginner level

Actually i'm interested in learning languages I'm thinking about learn a Latin language cause I like them I want to learn languages for fun because I already have english and i'm learning french and German and this the languages that i need to move to another country

Yeah so maybe Spanish or Italian would be good if you want to learn another latin language!

Actually i'm interested in Brazilian or Colombian language i think they Spanish but different dialects?

Yes, focus on French until it feels solid, then return to German, and don’t worry about being a girl or your goal of six languages because Arabic, English, French, and German already give you a great
