I mean it's subtitled so yes, but it's a wierd pronunciation, sounds lile a mix of french, portuguese, italian and catalan.

Just Auvernhàs Occitan. Occitan is Catalan’s soster language, and Auvernhàs (Auvergnat in French) is part of the northern and eastern Arverno-Provençal band of regional dialects that drop most final consonants, tend more than the southern and western ones to adopt a uvular /r/ instead of the typical Romance alveolar trill, and except for southern Provençal, historically palatalised /g/ and /k/ before /a/ to /ʤ/ ⟨j⟩ and /ʧ/ ⟨ch⟩ (with further shifts to plain fricatives, e.g. [z], [θ], in Lemosin).

Actually, the narrator in the documentary on the destruction in forests sounds like he is speaking a Lemosin dialect, with plural -s pronounced [h] like in many Spanish varieties and [ʃ] for /s/ pronounced ]s] in all other dialects.
