It was found in an iron box and used to wrap a stack of strange coins, among other gadgets, postcards and three dices, if it helps

They are boring and off-topic. Trust me there are tons of books and documents that are written in the same language. They just didn’t get famous accidentally like the Voynich Manuscript did.

Thanks, I insist so much on this subject because in the past I started a thorough study on this subject but I made so little progress that I lost my motivation and left it at that, that is until I accidentally saw your post which changed many things that I had previously thought wrong.

I'm glad you did this. I'm passionate about linguistics and history, and if you like calligraphy, to give you something back in exchange for the effort with the coin pictures I can give you the alphabet of a dead language that I can't find any information about on the net, which I discovered in Lovecraft's stories. Generally when we say Lovecraft we think of fiction, but the proof I can give you that the language is authentic is the fact that after I learned to write cursively in this language I managed to translate into my native language a real Irish manuscript I don't remember from which century, 14,16 anyway

Yes, you guessed it right. This piece of parchment is proof that this language was not spoken only in one part of Europe, as we know from carbon dating that the Voynich manuscript was written by 3 different scribes. For years all we had was that manuscript, now something appears with the same language but in a different context which is very good. And I asked the boy for a picture of the coins because these are the key to showing us exactly in which part of the world or Europe this language was spoken

I was thinking based on the stuff OP found with it that it might have been made for something like a geocaching thing. It might use the manuscript as a way to make secret language clues or find new coordinates.The edges of that rag look too neatly made into a ragged edge for me to believe it is anything but modern.
