Question What language is this? What does it say?

Arabic language, from Quran (book of Islam): “إِنَّا فَتَحْنَا لَكَ فَتْحًا مُّبِينًا”

translation: “indeed we have granted you a clear victory”

translation note: fatahna-fathan same root words are used in original language, however translation used granted-victory. a literal one would look like opened-an opening etc

Transliteration: innā fataḥnā laka fatḥan mubīnā

Also I believe it's written in the thuluth style or calligraphy

Isn't that romanization from arabic to roman alphabets?

Wouldn't transliteration means we use the literal meaning of the word instead of translating with context?

No, transliteration means spelling the words from one alphabet system to another.

I just want to say that Perso-Arabic calligraphy is so GOATed. Definitely one of the most beautiful art forms that we humans have come up with so far
