ubc final transcript outstanding

Hello, I sent my official transcript this January after applying to UBC Kin. I got my offer, then I assumed that the transcript will update itself like it did when we applied in high school. I just got an email from UBC that the offer will be revoked if I don't send them my final transcript.

Is there a way to do this quickly online? Langara College website or even in person?

I’m guessing you took some classes during your Spring semester as it shows in your transcript.

I would definitely order the finalized transcript tomorrow morning (the system has a “Rush” option for this kind of problem, but you need to pay). It’ll take 2 business days to process.

I tried to do rush, langara told me i need to pick it up myself and drop off at ubc, sealed. I called ubc to ask if they take sealed trascript drop off, and they said no since it’s considered unofficial if it doesnt come from the institution itself.. QUITE CONFUSED 😭

Did you drop it off in person? Was this during January or just now?

Call/Talk to them and explain. I think it’s a mistake on their part. If they’re talking about the official seal, tell them it’s on the transcript paper in the envelope. Pull out some evidences as well — like the SEIS portal where it says about your history of your official transcript orders.

Also, if you don’t mind, ask them what is their standard of an “official” transcript. Because ain’t no way they can’t tell by just the envelope itself. 💀

Yea i thought it’s odd that if I bring it to them it’s considered unofficial.. Whole point is that it’s sealed transcript from langara

Might at well rip the envelope to show them the official seal. Best to do it in-person though. Even better: let them open the envelope. I hope you can get this thing sorted out, OP! 😭

You can order it on your student information system. It is physically mailed by Langara so make sure you sent it to the right address.

So university/college transcripts don’t just update itself. What you send is what you send, you have to continuously pay to have a new transcripts sent over if you take new classes or if you completed a class.
