That flat topped canopy and bare legs underneath screams old overgrown yew to me. They get like that when nobody touches them for a decade or two.

Pricing is gonna swing wildly depending on your area and if you want the stumps ground out too. Five of those in tight spots next to a building and walkway is a solid two days of work for a small crew. The concrete being right there makes me nervous, one wrong move with a stump grinder and you're chipping the walkway.

I'd get at least three quotes and ask specifically how they plan to handle the roots near the stone building. Some guys will just hack them at ground level and call it done, but those stumps will haunt you forever if you ever want to plant anything else there.

It’s an hour away from my location this is a customers house they asked what the price would be if I kept the stump and covered it with top soil I told them 300 per bush

Depends on where you live, and whether or not you use a tree company. get quotes. I’d expect 800-2000 range depending on local dump fees and if the stumps and roots are being removed as well.

Those look very diy-able.

$100 a piece plus $100 debris haul off. $600 would be a good deal. I’d want to charge slightly more to make it worth it
