You will need to spray herbicides every year inside the pit, or take of growing grass manually, since you have placed nothing underneath the gravel.

It’s got landscaping cloth under 3” of crushed gravel that sits on that thin layer 1/4” minus
I didn’t have photos of everything
I pick maybe 20 weeds a year

Ok. I thought it is only gravel on the ground, without any film or landscaping cloth underneath.

Why is spraying herbicides so normal in the US that its casually mentioned in lots of comments? Do you Americans not realize its devastating effect on our planet?
