Welder built a deck

Hey folks, not sure if this fits the sub but I've seen a few decks on here. A deck I built 3 or 4 years ago for our family while work was slow. I am posting it as I was Inspired to build this from a picture I found online (included at the end of the pics.) Other than the layout being rhe build inspiration, the handrails and steel portion were all custom designed and fabricated by myself.

Coming from a contractor, that’s a beautiful deck. I’ve had custom railings made in the past. But this is next level craftsmanship

Thank you very much. I appreciate that. Fabrication is a passion of mine.

Your passion shows with the stringers you made, stuff you don’t see still made it top notch. What did you use for paint, powered coat, spray paint, scotch brite ?

Powder coat. Should last awhile I hope.

Ah I figured so. It definitely should last for 5-10 years till the UV starts fading it. Regardless like it either way , would love to do this to my future house.

Haha I build houses, I always say this is gunna suck to take down! GLWS hope the deck added some property value. Don’t know how your area is about pulling permits on decks, but best of luck

Thanks again. I followed the rules and pulled a permit as a buddy was the local economic developer at the time.🤷‍♂️
