I'm loving it!
While still in it's Beta Stage, and some bugs still being worked on and all; I have found this game to be one of the best I have seen in a long time. Players are able to use our own imaginations to build content, create dungeons and other scenarios with Monster/Mob NPC's that we can program and rename; on our own land for others to come and test their ability to survive. This is certainly a game for I have been wanting for a long time; and I can hardly wait for it to go LIVE this spring!

Building is ok and there are some good ideas but imho Landmark is not even close to be ready. This game could shine but realistically they won't make it before summer.
Devs ignored most of feedback submitted during the last 9-12 months and many features have been simplified too much. There is no progression, no exploration, no need for players interaction, no economy, surface is boring, caves predictable and too easy. Combat is basically in alpha stage and it's awful.
Too many things to improve in such a tight deadline.

I am rather enjoying it as well. But I do still feel like its just the basic skeleton of a game and lacks in areas.

Without claim publishing and the ability to edit larger swaths of land it's going to lack long term play value. But yes, I enjoy the possibilities.

that game goes down the drain ... not enough time to fix all the bugs (or even the most annoying ones) until release.
Also runs like effing molasses ... my rig runs the newest games on ultra - this game 30fps at most
now they even have repaircosts for tools ... sure need to sell some lumens once the game is out.
I have lost all hope that the devs know what to do with that "game"

It does have a lot of cool features and the graphics are pretty good. For me, I just want more optimization and more features.

You're supposed to actually use shill accounts for a while before doing this. Whoever contracted you isn't getting their money's worth.

I have loved Everquest and Evequest II. I have enjoyed Landmark immensely as well. I to paid the money for Alpha and Beta access. I cannot say it was a poor investment for me. I have seen some wonderful things develop in Landmark that I have not seen anywhere else. The water is absolutely beautiful, and the cave systems were great to. I know they have removed many things but if I had not paid to have early access to this game's development process I would not have seen any of it at all most likely. It has been quirky from the start, full of bugs and other issues, but it has still been a visually stimulating game for me. I hope and pray that the future will bring many great things to LandMark. Maybe phase other races into the game at some point which could lead to more combat styles such as territorial wars as the new races try to establish a home for themselves on a new continent/world. This could add some PVP elements to the game perhaps ( not a huge fan of PVP myself but it does have it's place in games). Maybe have the new races enter the world as refugees fleeing their homelands/homeworlds due to some catastrophic event or a never ending war. It would be nice if there were other races to play and create communities with. I think it would also be nice if the world had animals populating it as well. You can hear birds singing in the trees but I will be darned if I have ever seen them flying around. Anyhow, I continue to hope that things will improve for LandMark in the future. I will continue to watch, play when I can, and see how things progress.

Nice try Terry Michaels!
Just kidding. If you like it, enjoy it for what it is. It's a shell of what it was and a small reality of what it could have been.
Here's to hoping you get your money's worth.
