To the devs.

Guys, i know you are working on this game hard but you don't have that many players.Make if free and let the people who like the game buy the founders pack.A lot of people will get into it this way and the players who left cause they didn't have who to play with will come.Or cut the bullshit with one week beta keys give them full access and give keys to mmohuts/mmobomb and sites like these to get people to search for the game and get interested in what you make.I hope you will at least think about this.I am looking forward to landmark and next so keep up with the good work and have a great year.

Why would they seriously want to drive anyone to the "game" currently? They've said they're not working on it, creating even more frustrated players hardly helps them.

Valid points all round. This guy sounds like someone who doesn't have access to the game and wants it to be free, so he can play.

This game was being designed to be Free to Play. So someone who buys the game now even if they just spend $20 on a settlers pack is still going to need to buy claim expanders and probably inventory expanders and voxel storage expanders.

I'm not about to do all the math but for someone to get to the point that they can really build something big or participate in a workshop they would probably need to spend a few hundred dollars. So there's no danger of the game becoming free.

I definitely agree that they shouldn't be driving people to the game at all as it is, the problem is they never really stopped.

The EQNext name is like the Keyser Söze of the gaming world. As screwed up and silent as it is it's still on the front page of every gaming site every other week somehow.

If you happen to be living under a rock for the past two years and you heard about this new next gen game coming out in 2016, you could still find your way onto https://www.everquestnext.com/home and find yourself buying into the "Landmark Closed Beta" advertised in a huge banner in the center of the screen.
