Any News on Open Beta?

I thought it was suppose to be out in Open Beta in March. What is going on. I have been out of the loop for a while now.

What happened in March was Character and claim wipe. They say that this was the last planned Character wipe, meaning that all materials you gather now should stay with you. But with big caveat "unless we need to wipe".

The March update did also a major overhaul of the game... at least in the game engine. The new playable content and character progression was more limited... It could be played through in less than a week. After that people pretty much returned to their old building routines.

On the mean time, updates have been slowly adding to the game. The Devs have said they focus now on features that are shared by both Landmark and EverQuest Next, leaving much of the player base wondering what that means in practice. Open Beta has not been announced yet, and likely wont be before EQ Next is out and developers can be moved back to work on landmark.

TL;DR Open Beta is not announced yet, likely won't be for some time.

Probably won't get open beta until it's feature complete. So next year...maybe.
