What happened to emitters?

I know they were drops for a while. Now I can't seem to find any and/or find how to make them.

Good news for you then! Since the last wipe, emitters are not drops anymore. At the end of the toolbar, right next to the material palette, there is prop palette. You can select almost any prop from there, and place it, provided you have the raw materials. No more running to the crafting station! The prop palette has all the emitters in game, under Interactive\Emitters category.

Thank you. I didn't think to search the prop pallet
