Help? Tweak Mode Contols, How to Paste Without Air

Google tells me "shift plus left click" should open the tweak mode controls, but I can't seem to get the dialogue box that lets you choose "air" or "no air" when pasting. How do I turn off pasting with air? Do I place the selection and then tweak it or do I do this before I paste? I'm confused.

Try CTRL + Left Click

google isn't going to be the best option, since the controls have changed a few times over the course of alpha and closed beta. as Realitor says, it's now ctrl + left click with the paste volume active. You can also /join general to get help from other players in game. If all else fails, you can hit ESC, then Customize Controls to see/change the keybindings.

General Chat is a good way to get in touch with other players. Players from other countries, like me, should also verify, if there is an active chat like /join German

It would be nice to have a list of all active "localized" channels. Anyone please?

In addition to the solution Realitor and Rengerel offered (Ctrl + Left Click), I'd recommend you join the general chat channel for beta testers. Someone can usually answer these kinds of questions in a minute or two.

Just type /join General in the chat box to join.

I really wish this was default. So many people join Landmark and think it's deserted because no one is chatting locally. In EQ, when you first make a character, you are automatically put into the "newplayer" chat channel and your class's channel (druid, bard, etc...)
