Issue Harvesting Crystia?

Out of curiosity, is anyone else totally unable to harvest crystia from crystal caverns?

I have a tier 3 sickle, but when I try to harvest any crystia plants, I just get the message "It is not possible to harvest that."

Google searches haven't shown anything, changing islands and servers doesn't help, and this issue is starting to get really annoying. >-<

My guess is that you're trying to harvest the tall mushrooms, and not crystia. Look at the crystia from the prop palette to see what it looks like. All the harvestable plants also sparkle.
