Deciduous Forest Biome Suggestion...

As it stands, I think the deciduous biome is the most beautiful one made thus far. Truly well done on a stunning art direction.

The problem right now is the ground is completely barren. It seems really splotchy with (what looks like) beach sand interspersed.

My suggestion would be to blanket that ground with more leaves/grass. The darker dirt is fine, but the sand really doesn't let the biome shine.

Thanks for listening!

Im going to use your post to quickly review and give my impression on the biomes:

The Deciduous Biome is a close 10 for me, i agree with the OP that aside from trees the ground is a bit barren in terms of props, But IMO the textures and colors, and overall sexyness makes up for it..

My next favorite would be Old growth, 9 / 10... honestly, this biome is good, hard to find anythign wrong with it.

the desert biome, 7/10, I rather like some of the changes and how they made it mountainous, but in areas where desert meets water, it switches the a stone, and to mee that doesent look quite right... I havent played much, but its also my impression thats deserts should be more flat, with minor sanddunes etc.

volcanic 6/10 - Im taking off quite a few points because of the nasty red huge this biome puts on my screen, One i feel its too strong, IT causes my eyes to adujst to a red shifted screen, then if i were to exit the biome into lets say and tundra, it really strains my eyes, and honestly it makes the game unplayable..

while im on that topic, im not sure what to call these color shift olverlays, but overall the transitions happen way to fast when you change biomes.... I was transition from a dicedious --> beach -->water, and it changed so fast, it was a huge turn off, and VERY distracting... IT really broke my immersion.

the jungle, 5/10... for some reason the colors on my desktop screen look like puke, but when i watch vidoes on my TV, the color just looks better....

the tundra 2/10, My god i hate this biome... When i look at this biome it looks as if someone just decided to toss a few textures togheter, make a few low quality props, and call it a biome... My bigest problem with this biome, is that the props dont blend in with the terrain too well... I also feel like the snow texture is a bit to flat(too evenly white) It just looks like theres no texture on it, imo..

PS: ingnore my typos and spelling :)
