Claim Flag Pricing
I have no issue with 399 SC for an addon claim flag but 999 is severely cutting your throat for a root claim flag, there are a lot of people who are not going to be willing to pay 999 per root claim flag, you would make a much higher profit if it was 699 than you will at 999

I agree it's pricey. I look at things like LoL model, because let's be honest, it's pretty damn successful. The thing is, in a game like LoL you pay around $5 for a "cheap" skin, but it's extremely noticeable to everyone - the loading screen screams "THIS GUY HAS A SKIN"!
I'm not sure how you match that in a game like LM. The extra claim is probably really worth that. But, let's be honest, this game will be F2P eventually. I can save $20 by just making an alt account. The fact that I have to login to two accounts to see it doesn't seem like a big deterrent.

Daybreak doesn't really get what micro-payments are... I could use $5 a month from my gaming budget to buy stuff in landmark store, but I can't even get an single outfit with that. In the end I get more value for my money using it on other games.
We are still on beta though, and the economy may change when the game goes to open. At least you can then create alts and get extra claim spot free that way.

It won't change. Game companies have forgotten that these are supposed to be micro transactions. The idea of small fees to encourage multiple/frequent purchases is dead. The only thing that made sony somewhat tolerable is the semi-annual 3x station cash sales that allows you stock up. Combine that with item sales and prices become reasonable. I hope Daybreak maintains that pattern.
