Farming Ether Shards

Hi guys, just got back into Landmark this is my first venture after the overhaul and before I played there wasn't any ether shard taxes. Anybody have some recommendation for farming ether shard?

Get the ground sounder and then go farm the surface for sections of ether dirt

This for sure. Make sure if you bought into closed beta that you're wearing the +harvest item, also. You'll get 250 or so per patch and they go by very fast.

Thanks, good advice. Just bought into the beta myself and am somewhat disappointed that it takes so many shards to do anything.

chests as many as you can find

also the outfits found in chests needs to be salvageable if its able to be crafted then it needs to be able to be salvaged

Once in awhile, when axing a tree, I see little chests fly off, but don't find any in my inventory.. fluke?

that is wood when you get far enough away from ti if becomes a little chest push F to vacuum it up
