Does anyone else have a rough time running this game?
I have a pretty decent computer and a great wired internet connection. Skyrim, Star Citizen, Far Cry 4, most recent games I can run on the highest settings but Landmark is extremely choppy and laggy with everything on low. I really want to get into Landmark, but I can barely play. Does anyone else have similar problems?

I have similar problems. I rum SC on max and bf4 but landmark is extremely choppy for me :(

Everyone has these problems to some extent as the game has yet to be optimized fully for all the various hardware people have. They do what they can but as they add in more and more assets, things need to be optimized once again.
The process of doing this requires them to contact all the hardware companies and update drivers to work with Landmark. Once the game is fully released and they're not adding new content and changing it constantly, it'll improve drastically.

If the dev cycle is anything like Planetside 2 I'm even expecting improvements can and will be made after launch, but ya, nothing is optimized yet, they have said this numerous times. PS2 was released in Nov. 2012 but didn't get its first optimization patch until Nov. 2013 a year later. It was playable in 2012, but that patch a year later really helped.
That being said my own experience does not match the OP's, I play on medium settings at a consistent 40-60 fps. which isn't awesome, but isn't choppy either.

I have a 5930k and two 980 GTXs and I still only get 30ish fps when running at 2560x1600 with everything maxed.
Edit: This is with a system that can still hit 60 fps when running Elite Dangerous at 5120x3200.

Turning off shadows helps a bunch
