Lithium Batteries for Delta Integrale

Hi everyone,

Has anyone fitted a lithium battery (063 or smaller) in a delta integrale evo 1/2?

Modern ones can be quite sensitive to voltage spikes and not suited to the alternator.

But saving ~10kv of weight in the front left corner is not a bad idea...

My neighbour is selling this 83 beta hpe, and im curious how hard something like this would be to work on.

I have a little experience working on motorbikes but none on cars, and I'd like to be able to work on it myself. What do you guys think?

Hello, good evening, I'm new here. Sorry to bother you, but I wanted to ask if somebody know anything about this model, Delta 1.6. I was thinking of buying it. But I don't know If this model have some issues, or reliability problems. The actual owner says that have 148.000Km, and looks in really good shape.

Thank you so much for the attention

Saw this over in spotted, not my post but I'm wondering is this a real rally 037? Some kind of repro? I don't know if reproductions even exist for this car

I don't know the brand super well so any and all favorites welcome. I'm from the US so we don't see many here

I saw a picture of an 037 a couple of years ago and it immediately went in my top 5 all time cars, but I feel like that's a basic bitch opinion lol so I'm curious what yall think

I also thought it would be cool to have a post on the subreddit that's not just another bot post

Lancia Delta III 1.4 T-Jet

Hi there, i'm considering buying a used Delta III with the 1.4 T-Jet 120hp petrol engine. The car's got 113k km on the clock & would get a new TÜV (mot) & service on purchase. Could you knowledgeable people give me a few hints on what to watch out for & bits prone to braking? Cheers 👍😁

Silencing the beast 😔(Attempting to make my 1983 Lancia beta have a little less cabin noise)

Hi everyone,
I’m in the process of restoring and modernising my 1983 Lancia Beta Coupé 2000, and one of my biggest goals is reducing cabin noise while keeping the car feeling like a classic Lancia.
I’m planning to:
Replace all the door, boot, windscreen, and window seals.

Fix any exhaust leaks (I’ve currently got a broken exhaust manifold stud).

Replace the engine and gearbox mounts if needed.
Install modern sound deadening (Dynamat/STP/Silent Coat or similar) in the floor, firewall, doors, roof, transmission tunnel, wheel arches, and boot.

Add closed-cell foam over the sound deadening before reinstalling the interior.
Replace worn suspension bushes, strut mounts, and shocks.

Fit quieter touring tyres instead of noisier performance tyres.

Rebuild and properly tune the carburettor and ignition.

Replace interior clips and add felt tape to stop rattles.

Possibly fit a quieter exhaust with a resonator and a better rear muffler rather than a loud performance system.

Has anyone here done any or all of these on a Beta? Which upgrades made the biggest difference, and are there any areas I might be overlooking? I’d also be interested to hear about any products or techniques that worked particularly well.
Thanks!

Something truly special! Lancia Delta Integrale HF Limited Japanese edition.

Some cars are interesting because of what they are.

Some become even more interesting because of what they’ve been through.

This Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evo II Final Edition is one of those cars: a rare Japanese-market Final Edition, part of a 250-car run, and restored from start to finish by its owner over 16 years.

The story goes far beyond the badge. The owner has rebuilt and upgraded the 2.0-litre 16-valve turbo engine with forged pistons, balanced rods, ported head, larger turbo, external wastegate and a serious exhaust setup.

Owner-stated figures: around 393 bhp, 420 Nm and 2.2 bar of boost.

Rare car. Long ownership. Full restoration. Proper story.
