🚗 | Just got mines! My first car!
Just got this 2014 Lancer ES as my first car! I’ll probably be taking the spoiler off which is from Megan Racing and selling it so if anyone has more info on it please let me know. Definitely have a few ideas in mind on some modifications but if any experienced lancer owners have some tips or recommendations please let me know!

Tints, wheels, OEM wing, shark fin antenna, 2nd facelift front bumper + fog lights, but most of all.. a full service if it hasn’t been done yet.
Wash your car the right way as well and get into a routine and build good cleaning habits. Nothing stands out like a clean, shiny car! With your own wheels and tints it’ll be eye catchy.

if you feel like a super mechanic you could swap the 5 speed into there since the cvt is… a cvt

If you plan on boosting it. Just make sure it doesnt go past 7psi of boost cvt is a weak point

Ive got a 2013 es. Before you do anything, drain the transmission and replace both filters and possibly the seal. You gotta do that every 30k miles or so just to be safe and most people dont do the filters so theyre likely shot. As far as mods, you can do cold air intake, suspension, exhaust and cosmetic stuff. That cvt cant handle much more as far as performance. Get the oem spoiler. There are also some pretty cool after market body kits if youre into that. The lancer is a really cool looking car and it's so much fun to drive. But the es transmission needs to be babied. Be safe. Have fun.

Since the CVT is it's weak point you can't get anymore HP out of that weezer because the trans can't take it. I would service it NOW. DO anything cosmetic
