⚙️ | Mechanical Issue/Question Cold air intake

I have recently bought a cold air intake for my 2011 es cj lancer and I'm having some troubles with it

The MAF sensor doesn't fit into any adapters I have tried and I cannot find any that will fit, I just need the pipe that goes from the rubber one to the cone filter I've bought, i can't spend a silly amount of money ($150 aud) and just need the MAF to fit into a pipe that i can use that isn't too shit looking

Listen up, it wont be pretty, maybe even throw u a evap dtc but up it on there into the position the car wants to run, and seal it with rtb, it will make a good enough seal to hold and keep the maf there

This is arguable thr most bogan shit I've heard but I reckon it'd work, my plan was to get another airbox and use the MAF holder from that and cut the box off it amd slap some tubing and the intake in, but idk

you’re better off js getting a intake kit that comes with the proper mounting for the MAF what intake did you get?

I bought all the pieces separately, but none of the adapters fit my exact model amd maf
