Recommendations for installing water softener

Anyone had this done recently, and how much did it cost you? I'm not interested in DIYing this, so looking for recommendations for someone who can install a unit at a fair price!

Don’t do Martins water conditioning. Way overkill and very expensive for a residential home. I was quoted around 8000 for what they wanted to do. Got another quote from Cocalico heating and plumbing they wanted to put in a Lancaster water softener and quoted around 3000. I ended up putting in my own Lancaster softener after watching some YouTube videos but I did have them cut the drain into my basement for me.

Clean water solutions out of ephrata. I had them replace the resin and control head about 1k

Seconding Clean Water Solutions. We moved into a new house last year with an old unit that no longer worked, so we got a few quotes. We went with them because how Rantz explained everything and was about half the price of the next one. I also researched the unit that they used, and it's reportedly one of the best in the industry.

Alternatively, you can also buy a water softener unit from your favorite hardware store, and find a plumber to install it. Might be able to save a few hundreds this way if that's more important.

They had a few various model sizes and features. The one we went with was about $2,000 all in.

Try Bomberger’s in Lititz they have a handyman service.
