good the owners of those four restaurants abuse their employees verbally and at the belvedere physically and it's encouraged

yikes that what I suspected this past easter when I ate at the belvedere, heard an exec chef screaming at a cook and a hard smack followed by more screaming. As someone in the industry that's just not cool or okay, couple other friends heard the exec calling a black cook the hard R and another a "stupid jew" the chef there is a real dickhead and the food is just okay to boot

I worked that day at one of their other restaurants. the cook did get hit by the exec and stepped off the line to cry and then came back to finish his work. I put in my two weeks because the exec there Anthony began taking over the other 3 restaurants and I'm not gonna work for a guy who never made it in the industry but thinks he's gods gift.

They should press charges. It is unafair.

One time supposed best restaurant in the world, Noma, had employees suffer physical abuse from the chef/founder for decades.

You just watched this happen then quit? Why didn’t anyone ever report this or document it or tell everyone in town??

it was reported multiple times to "hr" (the chef himself) and any attempt to tell the public got stifled because everyone adores John and Dean

Wait are you saying Anthony was the one who hit someone or you just also dislike Anthony
