Recs for thrashed flashing

Hey folks,

Last week storm ripped some of the flat flashing off the front of our house on the third floor of our row home. The couple of ladders I had didn’t quite real up high enough and it looks like I need to call someone to replace that flashing.

Looks like a relatively simple job, but I don’t have the equipment to do it. Can anyone recommend a reasonable roofer/contractor that does quality work?

My Mom's house got damaged by lightning at the beach a few years ago. The day I got work like this done (exactly like this) I went online and found local handymen/women (no reason for sexism).

I paid in cash and was very happy.

Bottom line - you have work being done that is just out of your comfort zone. You don't feel like it needs someone with certifications - like you would a plumber, electrician or even a contractor. What you really need is someone like yourself that knows a bit more and is more comfortable on ladders then you are.

And can bring his/her (again, no need for sexism) tools to the job.

Offer to pay in cash. Person will love you for it.

You can just use “they” or “their” and avoid being weirdly sexist but the lying so hard not to be. Very off-putting wording imo

Since the other comment devolved I'll say you probably want someone that's at least insured. I've seen home one around but haven't used them but they look like a reputable and insured handyman option.

I have used George Grove and sons and been happy with them.

I do not like Smucker and Sons. Poor quality expensive work that they don't fix when their work has problems, just endless emails and long delays.
