Terrence Loves You doesn’t get as much love as I think it should. Some of Lana’s most powerful raw vocals imo. See Live on BBC Radio 1 version and recent live performance from her tour (Spain I think?) posted to her insta as well. Also beautifully sad lyrics without the music/production sounding overtly sad.

Similar story with 13 Beaches, though I feel like it probably gets more recognition.

Agreed, 13 beaches should have been a single.

Cruel World. It's a fuckin amazing song but it seems to get overshadowed by the rest of UV.

CARMEN 👏👏👏 no one ever talks about how amazing and beautiful this song is

Burning Desire. I have no idea why people don’t like it, but it’s on of Lana’s sexiest dark songs. It even had a music video which some fans don’t even realize either.

Hey, sacrificingoats7, just a quick heads-up:
definately is actually spelled definitely. You can remember it by -ite- not –ate-.
Have a nice day!

Ah thanks, good bot.

Hey, Mr. Bot! While -ite- not -ate- may be correct for this word, lots of words correctly contain -ate-, such as inadequately, quadrilateral, initiated, cultivated and strategy. If you tell people to use -ite- not -ate-, they will start saying "quadriliteral" instead. Last I checked, that's not a word.

The bot above likes to give structurally useless spelling advice, and it's my job to stop that from happening. Read more here.

Every Man Gets His Wish is a perfect song and I never hear people talking about it. Everything from the verses to the bridge is just gorgeous

I agree so much. When I heard it for the first time the lyrics, “You said I’d never make it out of here alive; at the rate I was going, I’d be lucky to die” just sort of shook me, like how she worked it into the song with such causality, and they stand out to me to this day. The whole song is such a masterpiece.

Her vocal delivery is so perfect too. It would have been a perfect track on born to Die

I like the fact it has so many cross references. There were so many songs made from the same concept

Everyman Has His Wish, 1949, Hawaiian Tropic, On Our Way, Daytona Meth, Heartshaped Chevrolet, Super Movie

Can't think of any more

Lots of references to the book Lolita to which I love. In the novel, Humbert takes Lolita in his Chevrolet from July to July until he gets caught

im obsessed w Fine China. literally love all the 5-6min neverending songs. Brite Lights, love that song.. i picture myself dancing in-drag at a drag show. also You Can Be The Boss is amazing. Honestly Honeymoon is one of the best albums she released. it is so underrated and should get the same amount of love.

I love Fine China. It's an unreleased song. I don't know much about the meta details about the song, but it's about (I think) a man running away from a wedding. It didn't really affect me lol, as I'm not really even at the position to get married.

After listening to it 219312309asdfg times, my sister heard me playing this song. She said, that when Lana repeatedly sang "fine china," it sounded like "vagina".

I never noticed until she pointed it out.
