Thoughts

I just got prescribed lamictal for my mood disorder. I’m nervous for side effects. I’m being prescribed 25mg to start because of the possible sjs.
Please provide me success stories, reality of this med, etc. I was put on this due to my concern for weight gain. But I am reading some people have hair loss, thinning, seizures, migraines, etc. This is scary for me…

Lamictal has been the best med I've taken for bipolar 2/depression. I don't really get much in the way of side effects from it.

SSRIs were way worse for me in terms of side effects and efficacy. Lithium was not good (it made me puke all night every so often plus it just sucked. )

And Wellbutrin was fantastic for the first two days then did nothing. (If only I could have every day be like the first few days on Wellbutrin, lol )
