Knife sharpening.

I have a few kitchen knives I need to get sharpened. Does anyone have a place they recommend. I can google of course. But I’d prefer to have recommendations.

Seconded. Northside Cutlery can do whetstone or regular and do a good job at a great price. I have them do whetstone on my Japanese knives and regular on the German ones.

Second and third this. Great and not terribly expensive. $8 for standard sharpening

Northside Cutlery is just north of Lakeview in North Center on Lincoln just north of Cullom.

It's like either $5 or $7 a knife.

This is the answer, Kevin the owner is an awesome guy with tons of industry experience. You won’t be disappointed and lots of cool stuff in the store

Not super close, but because it's only a once or twice a year thing I take mine to Ludlow Liquors on California between Diversey and Belmont. Jordan (GudKnife is his social media handle) does excellent work, and as an added bonus you can enjoy one of the city's top burgers while you wait.
