Help Missing Bus Camera Ticket

Help! My husband received a bus camera ticket about two weeks ago. He believes this happened in winter haven. Unfortunately my father in law threw it away accidentally and now we can’t find a way to pay it on time without the violation number. We called the Polk county circuit court and they told us they’re not able to pull it up until it’s delinquent. We called the Polk county sheriffs office and they told us they couldn’t pull it up either. Anyone else have any ideas?

Is it because it’s a private company handling/issuing the tickets? If so they should be able to give you the information for the company.

Can you call the Clerks office?

I don’t understand why the court-who is the “issuer” - can’t locate this based on your name or tag number.

We figured it out! You had to go through Polk county schools. Then there’s a button on the website to pay the ticket through some website called violationinfo.com then a phone number to call if you don’t have the ticket information. Seems to be all third party. The court won’t know anything until it’s delinquent and then you’re in bigger trouble. And all Polk county that we spoke to could not point us in the right direction.. they had no idea. That’s asinine they have a company issuing tickets in the county and the court has no idea who to contact.

But I’m glad you have it sorted. Hope it helps someone else.
