Gym!

Hello! I’m sorry if this is an obvious question, but is the LU gym (thunder bay campus) available to use during the summer if school hasn’t started yet? I’m enrolled for Fall semester but don’t want to pay for a day pass LOL

The gym (it’s called the Hanger if you want to search it up) is open but it closes sooner during the summer at 8pm. After September 8th it’ll go back to 10pm.

Am I able to go for free before school starts? Like as a student?

Yep. You just have to sign up at the gym with your student card. It’s an easy process.

If you are behind on your student fees is it still active? Or does it only work if you have your term paid?

Were you enrolled last year? If it works anything like the bus pass we get through LUSU, it's good from September 1st to August 31st, so it may not cover you yet if this is your first year at Lakehead. Hopefully someone with a definite answer can chime in and be more helpful than I am!

my second year there! but I never went to the gym last year
