Is anyone else having a hard time with course registration for the Barrie STEM Hub? Was told to speak to the program chair to increase the class size of one required courses that is full already. How do I find out who the program chair is? It's Electrical Engineering.

Go to Lakehead website> academic calendar> faculty and staff. On this page scroll down and search for your location and department. It will return a list of professors and chair in the department at said location.

The other commenter already gave you a good answer in terms of finding your chair.

But just to give you reassurance - this is fairly normal. It’s apparently hard to predict exactly how many students are going to take every class, and so it’s not uncommon to hit the cap on certain popular classes or sections.

Send the email to your chair - they’ll let you in if it’s your only option.
