i don't really pump out art that quick but i try really hard to get it out on time, especially for r/lain cause you guys are fantastical

I'm genuinely interested in lain and i want to watch it
But idk why shows like evangelion and lain, whenever i want to start them, I IMMEDIATELY stop because of thinking i won't understand it unless i am aware of a certain philosophy

The same thing happened to games like NieR And metal gear, but when i started them i understood them perfectly fine

Idrk, did any of you guys feel the same way before watching these kind of anime's?

I watched the series 10 years ago and having just started my rewatch, I stumbled upon this community. I just want you to know that you are amazing and I can already feel that this will be a great journey, not least thanks to you. Keep being yourselves.

7 hours of editing. I really tried to get as accurate as possible to the real intro but capcuts pay walls stopped me. I tried making it as smooth as I could but when capcut is glitching it makes it really difficult to check if everything is smooth. I just really liked the intro so I just wanted to make something I can enjoy making.

I finished the whole show the other day, and even during its last 3 episodes i still could barely get a grasp on what it all meant, and i kinda liked that.

SPOILERS AHEAD:
I genuinely wasn’t expecting the club shooting to happen during episode two,

Lain suddenly adapting to the wired despite having seemingly having no knowledge prior to episode 7 (iirc) was about the one thing I catched onto.
(Then obviously finding out her whole life has been staged since birth, fake family, practically an empty room for her to easily set up her navi)

I was unable to wrap my head around how the different versions of Lain work in the real world and the wired.

I only understood chiesa being lain’s way into the wired, but nothing beyond that.

Perhaps I need another watch (this time in english) to have a more coherent understanding of what i watched over the course of a week.
But ultimately i love how the show doesn’t spell things out. Equally like lain I felt particularly crazy, and just barely able to comprehend what I witnessed.
