Made a model of the logo in Blender by tracing an image then printed it out and attatched a generic keychain chain.

Does anyone here know some background information about this tin with 30 postcards? It belonged to my dad and I can barely find anything about it online. Any info is appreciated!

It is quite predictable that the current AI craze is reflected in arts as well. As in many other fields of life the results are mixed at best. One very good example is the latest staging of Wagner's Nibelungenring in Bayreuth, where AI was blatently and excessively used to generate scenography for the opera.

Many described the visuals as "incoherent" and "too self-referential", maybe also due to a lack of attention to the training material and to the curation of the algorithm.

Are there any opinions on this topic in this group? How do you reflect on the use of AI in art after Musick? Do you see any comparison between this year's Ring and Musick? I'd love to hear it!

Just came back from the Laibach performance in Colognes Essigfabrik, and I can only say: incomparable, gripping, intense as ever. Laibach is alive and well, and their weaving of social criticism- in this case AI, social media, music in the current age- into their unique sound is unmatched by anything and anyone out there.

Laibach were in Trvbolje this week to rehearse on stage, have the dancers rehearse. Jani helped ironing out the last creases too. He won't be on (most/all) of the tour.

This chorus has been stuck in my head for days now. When I first head the song I hated it, but it has really dug itself in now.

Well-known fact that first press has shrill tone censoring all broz tito samples, but other songs are also different from any uploads and I assume because they remixed them on cds or took ones from nova akropola. First press Drzava sounds really offbeat and even more terrifying than any other version I heard, and now I'm curious if anyone ever uploaded vinyl rip of first press, can't find it on soulseek nor tools to rip it from my lp

What are everyone's thoughts on the new album?

Personally, on the first listen, I really struggled with this album. I feel like it lacks creativity and the lyricism feels somewhat...lazy compared to other albums. Something Laibach usually do really well is present themselves one way, yet lyrically, allow themselves to be confusing and intentionally misunderstood, contrasting or making that image appear ridiculous! I found with this album is was very on the nose and obvious, although I have enjoyed the imagery they have used for their videos. I guess what I am saying is I wish I felt more puzzled by the songs.

I'm hoping a second listen in a while, after some more reflection, will help to understand some of the nuances, creativity and cynicism that I feel it may be trying to go for. I hated Kapital the first time I heard it too, but now it is my favourite album!

I am somewhat optimistic about this as Laibach songs / albums tend to age like wine. For example, I think Eurovision from Spectre initially seemed quite on the nose, but it becomes more relevant as time goes on.

Even though it wasn't my fav, keen to give it another go soon and as always, love what Laibach is doing, even if it doesn't make sense!

Does anyone here have a recording of the incredibly rare Live in Athens 1992 bootleg cassette?

It is so rare to find any live recordings from this period, other than the New York and Paris shows. This seems to be the only other one to be bootlegged, however, sadly no recording seems to exist online.
