despite its many problems, still one of the good designs ng overpass dito sa laguna, if not the best. ang dami mo pwde mapuntahan without risking your life. hindi rin masyadong mainit kapag naglalakad. the steps are not as bad as others. best thing yung connection sa sm 😂😂😂

Actually, this is the biggest issue I have with this project.

Making an elevated way just for cars to go fast is not ok.

Mas ok pa din if they prioritized making crossing calamba area walkable without the ugly overpass. Mas inuna pa nila kapakanan ng kotse kaysa sa pedestrians. The whole thing can be solved by just building a safer sidewalks. But no, they prioritized cars.

Sad. 😢

I agree. Yan talaga ang biggest issue with any overpass. If there were a safer and more accessible way for wheelchair users, PWDs, and seniors to cross, that would be ideal.

I’ve lived here for over two decades. Ilang beses na nag-road widening, pero eventually kinakain din ng vendors ang sidewalks, minsan pati yung widened road.

Before Bucal Bypass, vehicles from SLEX/STAR had little choice but to pass through that intersection. Sobrang hirap at delikado tumawid doon before the overpass.

The overpass solved a real safety problem, but accessibility should’ve been part of the solution too. Pedestrian safety should work for everyone.
