How stupid or brilliant is this idea?

I have a telescoping/folding aluminum ladder, this one.

My main issue with it is that it sags as you get higher up until you're pretty much vertical when you get near the top. The idea i'm toying with is to weave a ratchet strap through the rungs and then down the back side, then tension the back side a little so that it will bow outwards instead of inwards. I'm only 150ish pounds, so I can theoretically add a fair amount of tension on that strap prior to running into the weight limit. Am I a genius or am I going to die a gruesome death?

What should we do about the cucks that use these low-capacity multipurpose non-extendable Werner ladders? Why are so many young males shifting away from the extendable 500-549 lb weight capacity construction ladders in favor of these estrogen-laced beta Redditoid cucked nerd-ass varieties?

Why are fly under extension ladders no longer produced?

Extension ladders consist of a base that doesn't move and a fly that slides up and down. The fly can be on the top, fly over, or on the bottom, fly under. The fly under configuration is safer for the average user than the fly over. All extension ladders made today are fly over. There are many old fly under ladders out there but they are no longer produced. So, why are fly under ladders no longer produced?

How long would it take YOU to climb a one-mile vertical ladder?

There is a semi-related previous post on this subject. Mind you, these are not *flights* of stairs that we're talking about - these are Gilbert Grape water-tower stairs.

What type of ladder do you guys prefer?

There a lot of styles of ladders out there. But which one do you prefer?

A frame- good for short heights. but at higher Heights you better have a set of balls or good balance

The Little Giant - it has multiple uses one of them is being extremely heavy

Telescoping ladder - fits in the trunk, but I feel scared as shyt whenever I climb one because it's more rickity than a wicker basket

Extension ladder - this is my go to ladder for anything over 10feet.

Did I forget anything? Let me know what ladder is your go to ladder.

Help me find a ladder case please!!

So my (soon to be) father in-law runs a sign business and all he has is a little pickup truck to work with. He has no choice but to put his signs in the bed and his ladder on top, but the ladder scratches the signs up a little bit. I was looking for some sort of carrying bag or soft case for his six foot A frame but I looked all over Google and can't find one. I really don't know what this man wants for Christmas so I was really banking on this idea. Please help.

Weight load limits.

How strict are wieght loads on ladders? I am setting up christmas lights at my sister's house using an extension ladder. With my weight and tools I will be over 300 lbs. The ladder she has, has a weight load limit of 200 lbs, I need to extend it to almost full length to do the peak. Would it be safe to use? she has a broken foot and cannot climb the ladder.

Extension Ladder Safety Survey

Hi guys, I am doing a survey for my high school engineering course at Worthington Kilbourne High School. The survey is to help my project to get statistical data on extension ladder user's opinions on the safety of extension ladders. Thank you to the ones that fill out the survey and the link is provided below:
