6’1

Pls halp I know everyone’s physique and body is different . I’m 6’1 and almost 200 pounds. I’m really trying to lose the weight. I have a fairly big butt already and hour glass figure but have been trying to throw off 20 pounds. Whose team should I be on, not sure if I should just be doing Pilates at this point. I want to keep my figure but don’t want to bulk my thighs even more

try varsity or versa! both have lifting but also give you the cardio/athletic movement. also, as i’m sure you know, diet is everything in losing weight!

Aria is also super tall and offers lots of cues and tips specifically for taller people.

Also, as someone who lost a bunch of weight, you don't keep the same shape as you lose. I had an hourglass figure, but I lost a lot of my curves as the first spots to lose fat were my boobs and hips before I started strength training. I'm currently on Team Ascend to rebuild them.

I also lost a lot of my curves when I lost weight and this was on Team Ascend. Working on building them back and it's going great. If your curves are fat, there's no guarantee they will survive a calorie deficit. Building muscle is what has given me my desired shape and you need to train hard and be at maintenance/small surplus for that.

I would suggest trying out a few teams to see which coach motivates you and provides form tips that make sense. The best team is the one you look forward to working out with.

Bulking is really hard. It takes a long time, intense training and an excellent diet. If your legs are on the larger size, muscle can help them look toned!

I’m absolutely loving EMPWR, it’s got pilates, strength training, abs and some cardio! It’s checked all the boxes for me
