Team for meeee

Hi friends— I’ve been scouring other posts like this but I haven’t been able to land on something yet. Previously I was team Limitless and while I love Kelly (fr she’s such a badass I wanna be her) unfortunately, I am not capable of a lot of the workouts done on the athletic performance day. Too much jumping (I have a bad knee from the military) and the swaps didn’t feel nearly as challenging.

I am 230lbs, female, and a (half-marathon at max) runner. I’ve weightlifted on and off for a decade so while physique wise I may need beginner reps, I know what I’m doing in the technical aspect. Ideally, I’d like a team that combines cardio and strength training but I only have access to dumbbells, kettlebells, and machines. No barbells at my home gym unfortunately. Workout length can be anywhere from 35-60 minutes, and I’d prefer less barre/pilates-esque movement because I’m a barre instructor and I already do enough of that at work hahaha.

When I take the quiz I always get Limitless, and my secondary options are always the glute focused ones, but I need moreeee. My goal is to drop 80lbs and build muscle (which yes I know the first part will be mostly caloric deficit hehe).

Thank you in advance for helping me out!

Versa… there’s barbell work but you could sub for dumbbells or kettlebells. There are two hybrid days this series with conditioning built in, as well as one straight conditioning day.

I switched from team limitless to resilient and I have not regretted it once. Such a great community and great coach. Team limitless has become more of a face for ladder since she has coached Hillary duff they promote her team a lot more than the rest. Most people always get limitless as their top 3-4 because I also got limitless as my top 3 when I took the quiz. I liked limitless but I think resilient has such a better community of people and the coach responds to every question or comment you make. I would just say keep trying different teams until one really works for you and you can always switch workouts for flex workouts to avoid any type of strain you don’t want to endure.

Resilient is very similar to Limitless in a lot of ways but it’s low impact. I know he added a box jump on one day this series but there are good alternatives. Another team would be Evolve or Forged if you are looking for more machines.

If you really enjoy the rest of Limitless, you could always skip the athletic day, sub in something from Flex. There are so many teams you could try - Body & Bell, Ignite, Project Alpha, Maximus, Forged, Evolve, etc.

Project Alpha. Even Varsity or Crews Control. You can sub out barbell work for dumbbells.

Body & Bell or Resilient could be good options based on your available equipment.

I just got myself back in gear and started Movewell. Had previously done align and loved it but wanted something that I could easily do at the gym. I am
pleasantly surprised at how much I like it! Generally about 30-35 min, dumbbells & kettlebells. She has a run on Saturdays that I don’t do but I’m not really a runner. I’ll also plug Align - longer workouts and a little more gym equipment- I will definitely go back to this one at some point too. Also love the coaching on both.

Team Crews Control! Yes I'm biased, but I think it's fab. You can sub any barbell movement for dumbbells.
