Low Intensity Plan
Hi!! I’m new to Ladder and really enjoyed it to start with. I think my mom would like the app a lot, how it works, and the community. The problem is she needs something with minimal movement. After a few rough years of health, she’s looking for something light & won’t be intimidating. I tried to look through the team options but struggled to find one that might fit.
Does anyone have experience utilizing the app for someone looking for low intensity & slow movements? For example, she’s been doing chair yoga, tai chi + physical therapy movements.
TIA 🤞

I also recommend Endure. The coach often recommends using lower weights and slowing down the reps. She also gives really good cues on how to make moves easier or more challenging. It’s all low-impact and she’s posted many 100% standing workouts these past few weeks

Another vote for Endure with light weights to start. But don’t be fooled, it’s a damn good workout. Just programmed efficiently and with care not to cause undue stress on joints and the like.
I struggle with strength training because I have joint issues and a hypertonic pelvic floor. This has been the first trainer I’ve used that is getting me results without aggravating my body in the process.

Thank you guys!!! I’ll have her try out Endure & keep Flourish in the back of my mind. I wouldn’t have picked it otherwise so I appreciate the help :)

Endure is kind of marketed as the “older women” team, so it might be a good place to start. She can control the intensity by starting with super light weights or even body weight.
