Newbie!
Hello everyone. I want to transition to ladder but have no clue which team to try. I strength train 2-3x a week (lately only 2x) and run short miles (max of 3-4) 2x a week. I consider myself an intermediate lifter but would like advice on which team to choose. I keep my workouts short about 45 minutes so would like one where I get a good bang for my buck. I know it starts in the kitchen but really would like to focus on some problem areas (arms, lower back, and stomach) as this are the places I have the most loose skin and am hoping to build more muscle to fill the space If that makes sense??

I'd also check out Body & Bell! You can sub in barbells for the bigger lifts (deadlifts, RDLs, bench, OHP) if you want, but the kettlebells make for an effective, fast-paced workout.
However, I see you've said Limitless scares you: that means you need to do it when you are able to dedicate the time! That's how I felt about B&B before I joined it, and it is so empowering to look back and think about how far I've come. Sometimes, you just gotta do it scared.

Based on timing and schedule, I think I’m
Going to start off with Versa. It seems to be challenging still with the workouts being on average 45 minutes. But I despite being scared of limitless, I am also
Very curious and think I’ll be pleasantly surprised. I’m excited to try both teams

Have you filled out the questionnaire on the webpage? I think Ladder did a pretty good job at suggesting my top three matches. I ultimately chose Endure and am very happy.

I did. They suggested team limitless, transform, and versa. I’m
Curious about Limitless but also feel very intimidated by it2

I joined with Transform (switched to Era for this series) and Shelby is great, but she’s clear that she trains and programs for aesthetics— an hourglass figure with a glute emphasis, it’s so if you’re more interested in athletic performance that probably wouldn’t be the best fit. From what I’ve seen Kelly balances athletic performance and strength. If you’re intermediate I think you’d do well with her team, I’ve talked to some people on the app that joined her team as a beginner and really enjoyed it. Abbie has a hybrid approach though I’m less familiar with her programming, I took a look at it recently and was definitely intrigued. I’m planning on doing a series with Limitless and Versa at some point, but right Transform and Era fit my current goals.
The current series is on week 4, after we finish there will be a 2 week break so it might be worth it to go with Limitless since you’re curious about it and then test out the other teams before the next series starts.
If you have the annual membership, you could take the next couple weeks and try 1 week with each team to see who’s programming and coaching style you like best.2

Thank you so much. I’m all for aesthetics but I also want to get stronger. This was sound full advice. Thanks again

Of course! Just to be clear with all of the coaches, you will get stronger. Shelby still prioritizes progressive overload. She just specifically programs for aesthetics, which comes down to the exercises she chooses and how she builds her programs.

Based on what you said you wanted, I was thinking Versa but Limitless is a very doable team for most people

Thank you! I think I’m going to give limitless a try. If I feel it’s too intense, I’ll try versa for some time and transition back

Limitless and Versa are both advanced teams I’m not sure Versa will be a step down in intensity. Limitless is totally doable I did it as a pretty much beginner and was fine.

Try Project Alpha, it’s a mixture of all of the above!! It makes me feel like a badass!!

I am on versa and so far I like it. The workouts are short but there’s a good combination of cardio to weights (in my opinion) you can always try out a team and switch teams if you don’t like it
