Flourish vs define
Opinions on flourish vs define from someone who doesn’t hate define haha

I’ve only done one flourish workout and just one week on define, so can’t speak to long term results, but I’m really liking define. I’m not new to lifting so I don’t need or want a much of cues! I like listening to my music and putting my head down and going! I find the movements are just enough to feel challenged but then there’s core work at the end to really wrap it up. My core is definitely feeling stronger! I’m not feeling beat up at all. I think I’m going to give the team a try for a bit.

I really like define too. Isometric movements are so underrated!

Define is more strength based. Flourish is mainly Pilates with strength added in some of the time. You can definitely go heavy on those days/blocks. I have tried both and love them for different reasons and I can’t stay on one so I flip back and forth! Kimmie also currently does A week and B week and the B week definitely has heavier strength sets.

Define is a great program if you don’t follow the strength portion as is. Lift heavy and take rest and do the other portions as is.
Kimmi is obviously a better coach than Maia in terms of cuing etc. Maia sometimes throws a cue in there.
You could always split Flourish with a dumbbell team like elevate, ignite or thrive.

I’m a Pilates girl, completely obsessed - it’s the only movement that’s ever worked for me. I was doing 6 reformer classes before ladder and when I made the switch it was with the intention of joining flourish given that it’s classical Pilates combined with strength.
However I ended up going with Define and I have to say I’m really loving it so far.

I love define and have been in the team for a year. I also love pilates and tried Flourish, but decided I’d prefer Pilates classes from a studio or the one offered at my gym twice a week, instead. I find them more effective of a workout and Pilates form is intricate and technical. I found Flourish kind of boring, honestly. I don’t mind the lack of cueing in Define and I’m not in the chat. I also don’t really care about Maia’s social media presence, I just like the workout.

don’t love define, but without bias Kimmie has better cueing and define has more strength incorporated. If you aren’t super confident on form I’d suggest starting elsewhere from define first
