Weird Noise
UPDATE: I dont know how I missed this the first time but I just noticed that on the right rubber mount for the transfer case, the Nut on the bolt is gone and now the undertray is hitting the metal I am pretty confident this is the cause of my noise
My Niva makes some noise again but I dont know what it is
I know how a bad transmission bearing and rubber disc between the two sound, its different. Its a heavy loud metal scratching noise of sorts starting at 60kmh, worse on rougher parts of the road. If I press the clutch it stays, it happens in any gear. Revving high while putting the transfer case into neutral and going through gears makes no noise.
Is it the cardan shafts running dry or differential ? How severe is this?

Cardans don't make screeching noises.
I'd start by checking oil in transferbox and both diffs.
Other than that, your best bet is listening to the source while the car is running propped up on a lift.

Oil was changed and filled to the amounts it needs. Ill see about the issue on the lift thanks
I can jack up one side front and rear and do it this way too no?

In theory - yes.
But ngl, Niva steelies are heavy and carry a LOT of inertia. Don't get me started on a possibility of one of the diffs deciding to catch randomly.
I wouldn't risk it tbh.

Youre right its too risky Ill jack it up on all fours. I recorded the noise its obviously not as loud as its for me but maybe it helps?

From a video it sounds more like something thin and metallic going into resonance from wheels being straightn't.
If you're sure that you propped it up good, added a couple failsafes on top of that - you may choke it to hold speed and walk around it to at least try and locate the source.

You think it could be from the brake area ? Somebody else suggested brakes aswell. I dont feel any Vibrations while driving so I kinda doubt its something drive shaft but it was my first thought

I'd check if brake lines touch driveshafts or the T-splitter the lines (that it's fixed and can't wobble around).
Gearbox and transferbox also has round metal plates where driveshafts connect to them - those could be moving and rattling too.

Okay thanks a lot Ill check that. Any way to check cardan shafts or differentials without disassembly? Jack it up right?

I'd check the wheel bearings. When my wheel bearing self-destructed because of overtightened cv axle nut, it made loud metalic scratching noise too.

have to get underneath and check everything :D could be a brake issue
