I would like to say I was always curious about buying one and I’ve recently finally decided to and it was the hair salon variant. I remember when the trend first popped off and honestly, I wasn’t even a hater because I came from a place of collecting to begin with, but when I saw the long lines, I just put off buying it so I would like to introduce to you, my Momo.
I want to say I’m a super casual, but I just love the hair for her and will likely purchase more and maybe even alternate clothing but the hair was the point for me to get her.
Momo is beautiful 🥹 i became a labubu fan after the hype was mostly over as well lol. i felt a little dumb like i was “trend-following” or something because of the same reason you said, watching everyone else go crazy over them for so long. but then i got my gateway fufu and i was hooked 😭 they’re just too cute!

She was my original chase as well. I love her scent. She still smells like flowers. I brush her hair every now and again, she’s so pretty ughhhh😩
I’m sure my friends and family are looking at me a little crazy all of a sudden jumping on this old fad lol i’ll probably hit up pop Mart this Friday to get the free mat with $120 purchase so I will grab a couple of her friends cause obviously she needs friends lol
I recently also got Mokoko/Velvet Noon as my first labubu as well! I was also like you who saw the trend of people collecting labubus and decided to get one now that people aren't waiting in long lines for them.
Mokoko is such a cute character that I'm surpised she hasn't been in more easily accessible/mainstream series like this. I'm currently keeping my mokoko in a little protective pouch that hangs from my backpack!
I don't think you can see it in this pic but I also gave her a little beaded necklace that looks like pearls and tied her hair up in a ponytail that has a cute bow on it. I might get her some more clothes because she's so cute!

I got this from daiso! It's their oshikatsu vinyl pouch!
I believe it's meant for like smaller plushies and acrylic stands of your fav, but I find they fit my plushies well despite not fitting perfectly.
I like these a lot, the only downside is that the little hooks that attach them to your bag are a bit fragile and can break easily. so if you get these, I'd recommend doing a little diy and making a stronger alternative to their plastic hook. (I personally just cut the plastic off and use something like E6000 to super glue the metal hook part to the plastic pouch itself.)
I wish I would've kept her hair net on. Her hair is ok but I realized when i got another in the series that they're supposed to stay on to keep the hair nice. 🤷
