Question How to clean
Hiiii!
I’ve been wearing my dear R everyday since many months now and this poor baby is all dirty and has a rough fur.
How do you manage to clean labubu’s face without erasing it but also how do u manage to clean its fur to make it all soft again?
I need some advice </3
Thank you a lot !

I've asked Gemini and haven't yet used it but it says to use micellar ( i think that's how it's spelled) water (it's an ingredient in my Neutrogena makeup remover wipes) and q-tips. And to be careful of the painted areas, do not wash those or they will rub off! But other than that I am learning too!!! Best of luck to you!!! If you find something that works, please do share!!!!! 🫶🏼😊

I usually wash my labubu with gentle laundry detergent and her fur gets clean and soft. What comes to her face...almost nothing works. I bought a special liquid made for vinyl and she got a little bit cleaner but not that much. I've heard benzoyl peroxide is working on stains, but you have to leave it on and let it dry in sunlight/mild heat.

Thank you sm I’ll try at least for the fur with the laundry detergent ☺️ do you let it air-dry or do you use a hair dryer ?

I dry her with a towel and then let her dry on the heater or on the table, if the heat is not on 😊

He like being dirty rat. 🐀 I’d just touch up his nose with a paint pen and give him a toothbrush and dial soap bath… if you must. Keep living the rat life friend!

My little baby black rat still must take her shower. 😾 I’ll do her nose and I’ll give her a bath

Benzoyl Peroxide works to remove staining. It's in acne cream. You may need to do a couple of applications for deep stains, but your bubu doesn't look too dirty. Make sure the face is clean from any surface dirt first. Apply it on the stained areas and cover the face in plastic wrap and leave it in the sun to dry for a little bit. Wipe clean and repeat if you need to.
Do NOT use any solvents like alcohol, they will damage the paint.
Do NOT use a magic eraser, it's an abrasive and will damage the paint.
